Barclays Jersey Boat Show 2025

The 2025 Barclays Jersey Boat Show opens today (Tuesday 13 August) for exhibitors and catering concessions to register their attendance. The event will be held over three days at the St Helier Marina and Weighbridge Place from Saturday 3 to Monday 5 May 2025.
The Show remains the largest free-entry public event in the Channel Islands, regularly attracting more than 30,000 people. The 2024 Show featured 66 landside exhibitors, 41 caterers, and 52 boats on display across the St Helier Marina, the Albert pontoon and quayside. More than 10,000 people viewed the boats on display at the marina over the three days, and the wooden sailing ship, El Galeon, attracted hundreds of visitors.
The Show will, once again, feature maritime activity both on and off the water. Yachts and motorboats will be on view in St Helier Marina, with displays and demonstrations in the Outdoor and Active Zone, a range of marine and lifestyle exhibitors, as well as catering concessions along the quayside and a programme of musical entertainment in Weighbridge Place.
The Royal Navy has always been a popular participant in Jersey’s Boat Show since it was first launched in 2008 and is expected to attend again next year. In the past, fisheries protection vessels and university training vessels have opened to the public, and this year they also brought their dive tank along with navy divers. Details for 2025 will be announced nearer the time.
Sustainability
Ports of Jersey has introduced several requirements for exhibitors to make the event more sustainable and environmentally conscious. For instance, balloons and confetti are not welcome, as once used, they become litter and make their way into the sea where they can cause problems for marine life. Exhibitors are encouraged to use Velcro straps rather than cable ties, to reuse banners for future shows, and to limit their use of single-use plastics and polystyrene for items like straws, food and drink containers, cutlery and carrier bags.
A hydration station will be provided in partnership with Jersey Water, so visitors to the Show can bring their own bottles and refill them throughout the weekend.
